Signs of Low Testosterone in Men
Fatigue, libido drop, brain fog — when is it low T, and when is it something else?
The classic symptoms
Persistent fatigue, lower libido, brain fog, weaker erections, mood changes, body-composition shifts (more fat, less muscle), poor recovery from training.
When to suspect low T
If three or more of those symptoms have been present for 6+ months and lifestyle factors (sleep, stress, training) aren't explaining it — bloodwork is warranted.
What the labs look like
Total testosterone below 350 ng/dL (with low free T) typically warrants discussion. Below 250 ng/dL is clearly hypogonadal.
Don't self-diagnose
Many of these symptoms overlap with depression, sleep apnea, thyroid dysfunction. Bloodwork is the only way to know.
